The MIchigan Interscholastic Track Coaches Association (MITCA) State Team Championship will be contested Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Kent City High School, Kent City, MI.

Time Schedule
9:30: Boys Pole Vault
10:00: Field Events Girls Discus and Long Jump (2nd session will be 45 minutes after completion of 1st session)
11:00: 3200 Relay Girls First
11:30: Parade of Athletes This is really nice, Teams get introduced and parade down the front stretch
12:00: Regular order of events begins with the girls 100 HH

Ten boys teams and twelve girls teams are competing and each team is either a regional champion or regional runner-up.

The meet format scores three athletes from each school in each event, so every athlete contributes to the team point total.  The concept will determine who has the best blend of star power and team depth and thus is the best overall team in Michigan in that division.
