CU - Track & Field competes at GVSU and Bryan Clay Invite in California

ALLENDALE, Mich. - The majority of the Cornerstone Track & Field teams competed on Friday and Saturday out in Allendale at the GVSU Al Owens Classic while a few men's distance runners traveled to California for the prestigious Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University. With just two weeks left until the WHAC Championships, numerous athletes are starting to round into shape as they are close to national marks while setting numerous personal records.

Women's Highlights

Shaina DenBesten - PR in the Long Jump (18-1.5), PR in 200m (26.57)

Morgan Luedy - Season Best time of 16.26 in the 100H

Jolie Langmeyer - PR in 400H (1:16.26)

Makayla Clum - PR in the 400m (58.02)

4x400m - Season Best time of 4:03.16 (Katelyn Koetsier, Mara VanOrder Morgan Luedy Makayla Clum)

Kelli Smith - PR in the 1,500 (4:46.68)

Amanda Sorokin - PR in the 800m (2:20.49)

What's Next? Cornerstone will head to two different meets next week as they will take part in the Hillsdale Gina Relays and the Knight Open, hosted by Calvin College.
