Spring Arbor - Women Finish 4th, Men 6th at First-Ever CL Indoor Championships

MARION, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's track and field team finished fourth and the men's team earned sixth as the inaugural Crossroads League Indoor Championships concluded Saturday at Troyer Fieldhouse on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University.
The SAU women's team totaled 101.5 points behind eight All-Crossroads League performances. The men's squad racked up 63 points with four league champions and five All-League efforts. The men's 4x400 meter relay team, consisting of Austin Hickerson, Jeremy Goodson, Max Whittredge and Joe VandePol, not only finished first in the event, but also hit the NAIA B standard to punch their ticket to the 2018 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships
Taylor University secured the overall women's championship with 179 points with Indiana Wesleyan (162) and Marian University (134.5) coming in second and third. Indiana Wesleyan captured the men's championship with 151 points, followed by Taylor (128.5) and Bethel College (126.5).
