Cornerstone U - DMR’s and Distance groups highlight GVSU Big Meet

ALLENDALE, Mich. – Cornerstone Track & Field competed at GVSU in a 2-day meet that started Friday with a school record from Alexis McConnell and concluded Saturday with a pair of strong showings from the Distance Medley Relay teams. The Golden Eagles will go into next week's WHAC Championships in a meet that will once again be hosted by Aquinas College on Saturday afternoon.
Women's Highlights
Alexis McConnell – set a new school record in 5,000 – 17:42.88 (auto standard for NAIA) – ranks No. 2 in NAIA this season
Top-10 finishes – Meredith Haddad in Long Jump, Gabriela Wittenbach in Weight Throw
