Aquinas - Women Collect 11 Wins at Alma

The women's track & field team collected eleven first place efforts en route to their victory at the Jim Cole Scottie Open. The Saints outdistanced the host Scots, Lake Superior State, and Lansing Community College.
Erin Drouillard (JR/Mecosta, Michigan) won the pole vault with a provisional qualifying mark of 11-5.75, while Alex King (SR/Lakeview, Michigan) won the 100 meter hurdles in 14.75 to improve on her "B" standard from last week. Adri Sigafoose (JR/McBain, Michigan) claimed wins in the 1500 meters (4:38.24) and the 800 meters (2:19.48). Sigafoose's time in the 1500 meters hit the provisional standard. Skye Morgan (SO/Grand Rapids, Michigan) also won a pair of events as she claimed top prize in the long jump (17-2.75) and the triple jump (34-10.25). Her mark in the triple jump landed her at #4 on Aquinas' Top Five List.
Other Saints to claim gold's on the day were: Analis Floyd (SO/Grand Rapids, Michigan) (400 Meters - 59.71), Tori DeSira (JR/Dewitt, Michigan) (400 Meter Hurdles - 1:07.48), Megan Hicks (JR/Mt. Clemens, Michigan) (Javelin - 99-4), the 4x100 Meter Relay (48.81) and the 4x400 Meter Relay (4:13.11).
The Saints will return to action at Grand Valley State next weekend.
