Milford Labor Day Run
Milford, MI

The first 30 km road race for many years in Michigan is off to a good start.
We had 50 people enter and all 50 finished, although a few did 19, 20 even 22
miles.
We will keep the same course for next year, but try ribbons around tree on
the dirt roads. If, you can help with next years event, let me know as soon
as possible. I sure it will be bigger and better. Baker's has already said
they will help again. Those who stayed, I hope you enjoyed the free round.
Well, I know you have waited patiently, so here are the result. Forgive me

Again congratulation to all that participated. This is the only 30 km road
race in Michigan and perhaps the Midwest. If, we all spread the word, we
could make it the biggest and best in the USA. Thanks for coming out. Mark
your calendar for August 31, 2002.
Special Thanks to Ron Jasmine of the Ann Arbor Track Club for bringing out
the clock and helping with the race. We had plan not to have official times,
but thanks to Ron we have these results.
Those of you I saw at Dances with Dirt, realize this was much easier to
navigate then some of the trails. Good luck to those of you running
Kensington and Fall Marathons.
Here is to making this a yearly tradition.
