A small group of athletes from the Hillsdale College women's track teams competed at the Bob Kahn Invite, held on the campus of Oberlin College in Ohio Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Madison Estell out-leaped all competition in the triple jump, winning with a distance of 11.01 meters. The Chargers got another win from junior Corinne Zehner, who was victorious in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:03.1. That is the second-best time in that event in her career.
Freshman Hannah Watts, a promising sprinter, took second place in the 800 at 2:22.16, while sophomore Allison Duber was third in the 200, finishing with a time of 25.82 seconds.
Hillsdale will compete in the first of four home outdoor track meets this season next Saturday, hosting the Hillsdale Invitational.
