Several Broncos improved their times from last year's race, including Aisha Hodge. Hodge led the way for WMU with a 6k time of 22:41, taking 34 seconds off of her time from last season. Freshman Daya Wagh continued to impress, building upon her strong finish last week and turning in a time of 22:50.

Junior Rebecca Peacock sliced 27 seconds off of her time with a mark of 23:28 on the day as WMU's third finisher. Senior Teresa Marin cut 36 seconds from her time and turned in a finish of 23:33, while freshman Claire Gilbert wrapped up the Broncos' top-five finishers with a time of 23:37.

Senior Alex Forsythe was WMU's sixth finisher on the day but beat her time set at last year's Spartan Invitational by 1:15 at 23:46.
