DES MOINES, Iowa -- Relay work in the sprint medley and the 4x400 highlighted the final day of the 103rd running of the Drake Relays on Saturday afternoon.

The sprint medley relay team of Rebecca Hall, Andrea Arnold, Victoria Chatman and Aisha Hodge combined for the third fastest time in WMU history at 3:53.64. The two faster times both came at the Drake Relays, when WMU won the race in 2007 and 2008.

The 4x400 team ran its fastest time of the season of 3:38.67 to take fifth place. Iris Campbell, Leya Munwam, Chatman and Arnold ran well against a loaded field, but will be on the bubble to qualify for the NCAA East Regionals.

"We ran well but I thought we could have run better," said head coach Kelly Lycan. "We ended up fifth against some really great teams but we will probably going to be sweating it out on the bubble."

The Broncos host the Jack Shaw Invitational on Friday before heading to the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championships the following week.
