Women's Cross Country Jumps to No. 2 in National Poll
- ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's cross
country team jumped three spots to second in the Oct. 5 FinishLynx/NCAA
Division I poll. Ranked fifth last week, the Wolverines pulled up to No. 2
behind defending NCAA champion Brigham Young University. The Wolverines
next compete on Friday (Oct. 9) in Kalamazoo, Mich., at the Michigan
Intercollegiate Championship. Michigan is the two-time defending
Intercollegiate champion and has won 11 of the 12 championships.
