Last Week: Competed at 89th annual Drake Relays (no team scoring) April 24-25 in Des Moines, IA Next Week: Idle, Next at a dual meet against Toledo on May 5 in Toledo, OH Titan senior Kim Jess (Dearborn Heights, MI/Crestwood) claimed ninth place in the high jump Saturday at the 89th annual Drake Relays. Her height of 5'8" represents a new UDM outdoor record. "Kim took advantage of the great weather and jumped as well as she ever has," coach Guy Murray praised. "Only three jumpers went higher than 5'8". Kim had two very good attemps at 5'10". "Combined with what our men did, three top 10 finishes for us is very significant in a meet of this magnitude." -UDM- |
