Notre Dame cross country releases 2002 schedule

Irish will host three meets on campus this fall.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- (7-16-02) The University of Notre Dame men's and women's cross country teams, both coming off appearances at the NCAA Championship last season, have released their 2002 schedule. Three home meets will be run at the Burke Memorial Golf Course this year, beginning with the Adidas Invitational on Sept. 6.

Notre Dame also will compete in the traditional Pre-National Championship race (in Terre Haute, Ind.) and the BIG EAST Championship in Boston, Mass. The Great Lakes Regional race will be held in West Lafayette, Ind., this season.

The men's team is also scheduled to make an appearance at the IC4A Championship in New York, NY, on Nov. 23.
