Nike Running Heats Up in November
Nike BorderClash celebrates its fourth year
Nike Portable Sports Audio by Philips is now available

NEWS
Nike BorderClash IV
Whose turn is it to win Nike BorderClash and own the border? On Sunday, November 17, Oregon and Washington's BEST high school runners will face off at Nike World Headquarters to aim for the title "BorderClash Champions". The fastest forty girls and forty boys from each state will join forces to race together as one team under their respective state's flag.

The 4.2K race features a visually-amazing start as the two teams run towards each other from opposite ends of a soccer field to merge at the course's entrance. Runners can be seen bumping and jockeying for front place. Oregon is looking fierce this year, and they're ready to get the crown back from Washington, who currently leads the series 2 to1.

High school runners will have plenty of inspiration on hand as young miler Alan Webb, track and field greats Bob Kennedy and Suzy Favor-Hamilton, and marathon legend Alberto Salazar will be there to watch them run. The athletes will sign autographs, be available for interviews and serve as coaches for the 2nd annual BorderClash Media Run.

That's right! MEDIA RUN! Media from both states are invited to compete against each other in a 1K race held prior to the high school events, in order to answer the question "Who is the Northwest media's best cross country runner?" Please let us know if you're interested in competing and we'll outfit you in the proper gear!
