In Their First Meet This Season Lightning Lynx Track Club Bring Home Two Bronze Medals

March 2, 2002

The Lightning Lynx 10 and 11 year old girls performed very well at the AAU Indoor Track and Field Championships held in Merrillville, Indiana on February 23-24th.

Victoria Lipscomb and Whitney White both placed 4th in their events. Victoria in the Long Jump and Whitney in the 400m Dash, therefore each earning a bronze medal. Jade Jackson, sisters ShaNiece, ShaRiece and ShaRiah Pinkston also perfomed well in the 55m, 200m, 800m and 1500m events. The Lightning Lynx are off to a Running start!! Kudos to the Lady Lynx.
