The Super Milers Art Show by Karen Harvey

ANN ARBOR - Artist Karen Harvey is hosting the "The Super Milers" Art Show May 12 (6pm to 8pm) & May 13 (11am to 4:30pm).

Where: University of Michigan Indoor Track Building Ann Arbor, Michigan

Thirteen original etchings of the greatest mile runners in the history of Track and field will be on display. Every world record holder from Roger Bannister to Hicham El Guerrouj. Also featuring watercolors of Steve Prefontaine, Sebastian Coe, and Kevin Sullivan. Along with observing the art, you will learn some miling history. Admission is Free! About the artist... Karen Harvey, graduate of the University of Michigan and resident of Ann Arbor. Born in Canada, Karen continues to compete for the National Team in track and cross-country meets all over the world. "The Super Miler" collection of etchings has been the culmination of six months of work and research.
