Detroit, Michigan - New Marathon Course Announced

The Detroit Free Press/Flagstar Bank International Marathon would like to announce tentative approval of the 2000 Marathon Course. This year's Marathon and Tim Hortons Team Relay will begin at Cobo Hall on Sunday October 15th at 7:45am.

The course will also feature the Ambassador Bridge, Riverside Drive in Windsor, the Detroit/Windsor Tunnel, Tiger Stadium and Comerica Park as well as Belle Isle. Runners will also have the opportunity to finish center stage at Chene Park, Detroit's riverside entertainment center.
