We are excited to once again be hosting our 5K in Dearborn and this year's race is going to be "Far Out" as we celebrate the 60s! Each year we theme the race after a decade and this year its time we celebrate the Swinging Sixties! Groovy right? This is a great mid summer race for all of our racers getting ready for their A race in the fall, and for the casual runner looking for a fun 5K course! Its a gas!! Our fast and fun USATF Certified Course will give you a great shot at your PR. It would be a real bummer to miss this one!
During registration, participants will be prompted to sign up as a member of a specific decade. This is whichever decade you most associate with the Dearborn area. If you are not from Dearborn, you can sign up as whichever decade you graduated high school. We will crown a winning decade based on points scored during the race. Learn more here.
This race is part of the Trivium Southeast Michigan Running Series, the Trivium Club Cup and the Trivium Mega Medal Series. Athletes can earn points for themselves and their club for our end of season party. Your finisher medal will connect to 5 other race's finsher medals to make one MEGA medal in the Trivium Mega Medal Series.
