Owens Corning Half Marathon at GCM

- Prize Money & Awards
Up to $3,850 will be distributed to the top 5 runners overall and the overall runner in the masters division. Prize money awards are equal for men and women.
Prize money distribution is based upon gun time results for overall and masters division.
A review of the results will occur prior to prize money disbursements. Decisions of the race referee and jury of appeal are final and cannot be contested. Allow 4-6 weeks for cash prizes.

Master Division Cash Prizes
Masters division competitors are defined as being 40 years old and older.
Masters division runners are NOT eligible for both overall prize money awards and masters division prize money awards. If a masters division runner qualifies for both, he or she will receive the greater of the two amounts.
Additional Half Marathon Prize Incentives
First male and female to break the current half marathon course record wins an additional $500
First male and female to break the current half marathon Masters course record wins an additional $150
Age Group Awards — Individuals
The first, second and third place finishers in the following age groups for both men and women will receive awards:

The Mercy Health Glass City Marathon (GCM) course will begin on Secor Rd on the West side of the University of Toledo. It will circle campus before heading West into beautiful Ottawa Hills. Heading north into the quiet neighborhoods of Ottawa and Ottawa Hills, the course leads you to the area’s finest Metroparks system utilizing the University Parks bike Trail. A tour through Sylvania leads you back to Wildwood Metropark and down the bike trail to a short tour of the UT campus, concluding with the finish inside the Glass Bowl.
This course has little elevation changes, smooth paved roads, and annually posts very fast race times and a memorable experience for everyone running.
