Hassan qualifies for NCAA Championships.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – It was a busy weekend for the University of Notre Dame track and field teams with athletes competing across the country. Junior Alyissa Hasan won the California Invitational Heptathlon with an NCAA ‘A’ cut and school-record 5,509 points, a personal record by 773 points. Hasan, who was the day one leader with 3,443 points, used a 2:25.83 PR in the 800m Dash to punch
her ticket for this year's NCAA Championship meet held Des Moines, Iowa. Her total of 5,509 points also placed her on the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials B-list.

The Irish will be on the road this week with events at the Drake Relays (April 25-26) in Des Moines, Iowa, and the Hillsdale Relays (April 25-26), which is held in Hillsdale, Mich. April 18-20 Results
