CU - DeBoer and De Young lead Men’s T&F to third at WHAC Indoor Meet

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Joey DeBoer took home a pair of WHAC Individual titles while Colin DeYoung was named the Performer of the Meet as the duo led the Men's Track & Field team to third at the WHAC meet. Cornerstone will now be off until the NAIA National Championships in Pittsburg, Kan. in two weeks.

Colin DeYoung – WHAC Champion in 5,000 and 4th in Mile and runner-up in 3,000



Joey DeBoer – WHAC Champion in Mile (4:20.93) and 3,000 (8:48.89)



60m – David Dwumfour-Poku – Personal Record (6.98 – 4th)



1,000 – Tyler Lewis – Personal Record



4x800 – Team of Nate Silvey, Zach Feldpausch, Kevin Vroegh and Joey DeBoer – 2nd place – NAIA Auto mark



Shot Put – Judah Bruce – 7th (13.70 – Personal Record)



400m – Jacob Brinks – 5th – 51.99



600m – Kevin Vroegh - 3rd - 1:25.08



800m – Owen Woltjer – 2:01.41 (4th), Nate Silvey – 2:01.65 (5th)



Mile – Doug Hollett – 4:23.37 (3rd)



Cornerstone will stay in Grand Rapids for next weekend's Grand Valley State BIG Meet. Action starts Friday and will continue on through Saturday evening.
