OU Breaks For School Records On Final Day of Jets Pizza Invite

SAGINAW, Mich, - Kendell Jefferson broke the 60m (7.58) and the 200m (24.94) school record to place first and second respectively while Chanel Gardner finished third breaking the 400m school record (56.63) on the final day of competition at the SVSU Jets Pizza Invite on Saturday. Zach Stadnika also broke his own heptathlon school record with 5182 points to finish first followed by Jimmie Williams who eclipsed the 400m school mark (48.31) to place third.



The men's 4x400 relay team of Corey Goodloe, Marcus Nellum, Andrew Storm and Williams finished second (3:18.21) while Sheldon Drake placed fourth in the 200m (21.98).



On the women's side, Alana Koepf placed third in the 3000m (10:00.05) while Andrea Koenigsknecht finished fourth in the 800m (2:15.20).



Oakland travels to the Notre Dame Meyo Invite on Fri-Sat., Feb. 2-3.
