"Our top three runners got the job done and were great today," commnted WMU head coach Kelly Lycan. "Hanne ran the smartest race today and stayed patient proving to be the stronger runner at the end. It is such an amazing feat for her and she is a great example of our runners here at WMU. She has steadily kept getting better and better each year for us and she can now say that she is a MAC champ. I also can't say enough about coach Taryn Sheehan and the work that she has done for this team this season."
