Hope - Women's Cross Country Wins 18 Team Field at Ohio Wesleyan

Emily Hamilton headlined a group of five Hope College women's cross country runners for the victorious Flying Dutch at the 18-team Ohio Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday.



The junior from Naperville, Illinois (Naperville North) clocked a fourth-place time of 22 minutes, 34.7 seconds.



Hope finished with a winning score of 64 poInts. They were 16 points ahead of Otterbein, Ohio.



Senior Rachael Webb of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grandville) placed 11th in 22:53.8.



Sophomore Chelsea Miskelley of Holland, Michigan (Black RIver) came in 12th at 22:54.7.



Senior Alexis Guttilla of St. Charles, Illinois (Westminster Christian) took 18th at 23:10.3.



Junior Avery Lowe of North Muskegon, Michigan (North Muskegon) rounded out Hope's scoring in 19th at 23.11.2.



Others in Hope's top seven were sophomore Kelly Peregrine of Traverse City, Michigan (Central) in 30th at 23:32.8 and sophomore Rebecca Duran of Palatine, Illinois (Palatine) in 44th at 23:57.2.
