Northern Michigan's Mylle Takes 16th in Triple Jump at NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

BRADENTON, Fla. — Northern Michigan's Ine Mylle finished 16th in the triple jump Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Mylle recorded a distance of 40-2.75 to finish four spots higher than she was seeded.
Earlier this season, Mylle placed 14th in this event at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, recording a mark of 39-3.25.
Mylle was one of six Wildcats who competed at the NCAA outdoor championship meet, joining Kieren Becker (1,500-meter run, 15th), Kameron Burmeister (10,000-meter run, 15th), Samanthia Johnson (discus throw, 12th), Dana Shove (discus throw, 22nd) and Jasmine Williams (discus throw, 15th).
The track & field team finished its campaign with three All-Americans: Burmeister (indoor 5,000-meter run), Johnson (discus throw) and Williams (weight throw). Burmeister also garnered All-American accolades in cross country.
