MSU - Ehrhardt Earns Bid to NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Committee has announced the participants that will compete in the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships. Redshirt junior Tim Ehrhardt earned a bid to the 2017 Championships in College Station, Texas from Mar. 10-11.



Michigan State will be represented by Ehrhardt in the men’s pole vault. Ehrhardt earned a spot in the championship with a clearance of 5.49-meters at the Big Ten Championships where he took first and was named the men’s Big Ten Pole Vault Champion. The jump of 18’0” at the Big Ten Championships was a career-high for the redshirt junior. This will be the second time Ehrhardt has competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships.



ESPN3 will stream the meet live on Mar. 10 starting at 6:25 p.m. ET and Mar. 11 starting at 4:55 p.m. ET. A re-air of the championship will take place on Sunday, Mar. 12 starting at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
