Calvin Men's CC Takes 19th at NCAA III Championships - Jordan Kramer Claims All-America Honors

LOUISVILLE, KY - The Calvin men's cross country team took 19th at the NCAA III Championships on Saturday with a team score of 468 points. Saturday's 8k race was held at Tom Sawyer Park.



Calvin was led by senior Jordan Kramer (Pewaukee, Wisc./Lake Country Lutheran HS) who garnered NCAA III All-America honors with a 14th place individual finish in a time of 24:40.



Kramer's finish is the highest by a Calvin men's cross country at the national meet since Jed Christiansen placed sixth at the 2008 national meet.



Junior Andrew Philipose (Mount Prospect, Il./Mount Prospect HS) was Calvin's second finisher, placing 108th in a time of 25:27.



Senior Zac Nowicki (Comstock Park, Mich./Calvin Christian HS) was 139th in a time of 25:39.



Senior Mark DeJong (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian HS) was 189th in 25:59. Senior Nate Van Haitsma (Olympia, Wash./Olympia HS) was 197th in 26:07.



Sophomore Nathanael Dick (Grand Rapids, Mich./Home Schooled) was 223rd in a time of 26:21 with sophomore Jamison Koeman (Milford, Mass./Whitinsville Christian HS) rounded out Calvin's finishers, placing 257th in 26:53.



North Central won the team title with a score of 60 points.



Ian LaMere of Wisconsin-Platteville won the individual national title with a first place time of 23:40.
