Cornerstone U - Women’s XC places ninth in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Audrey Tremaine (SR/Jackson, Mich.) has the women's cross country team slowly climbing the NAIA ranks and after moving into the Top-25 this past week, the Golden Eagles had a strong showing at the Royals XC Challenge hosted by Queen's (N.C.). The meet was run at the site of the NAIA National Championships in mid-November.

The women's cross country team is making steady improvement as they gear up for the final month of the season and Audrey Tremaine once again led the charge on Friday afternoon at the site of where the national championship meet will be run in November.

The senior posted a time of 19:14 and she was followed by Cathy Coryell (JR/Hamilton, Mich. ) (19:26), Brooke Owens (SO/Sterling Heights, Mich.) (19:35) and Kayla Hunt (SR/Cedar Springs, Mich.) (19:45).

Cornerstone will return to action on October 24 at Gracewil Country Club for the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge.
