Hope College - Flying Dutch Runner-up At MIAA Women's Track & Field Jamboree

THe Hope College women's track & field team won three events as it accumulated 862.5 points and finished second at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree on Saturday at Alma College.



Senior Sheri McCormack of Holland (West Ottawa HS) gave the Flying Dutch winning efforts in two events.



McCormack took first in the 800 meters with a run of 2 minutes, 16.22 seconds. She also won the 1,500 meters in 4:36.42.



Pole vaulter Kaylee Kish placed first in the pole vault. The sophomore from Bay Village, Ohio (Bay HS), cleared 9 feet, 0-1/4 inches.



Calvin won the seven-team event with 242 points. The MIAA Jamboree does not factor into the overall standings.
