YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team will host its second and final meet of the 2014 calendar year as the squad will go up against Mid-American Conference foes Western Michigan University, Central Michigan University, and the University at Buffalo, Friday, Jan. 10.

Following a stellar weekend in which two school records were broken thanks to Sarah Chauchard (Montpellier, France) in the pentathlon and Victoria Voronko (Stavropol, Russia-School #42) in the 5000m run, the Green and White will look to showcase another strong day of events in the matchups against conference contenders. The meet will provide key insight into how the team should stack up against the rest of the MAC, as the Eagles will not face this many conference opponents in one meet until the 2014 MAC Indoor Track and Field Championship, Feb. 28-Mar. 1.

The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m in Bowen Field House. The men's events will run first, followed by the women.
