DES MOINES, Iowa (EMUEagles.com) - A pair of members from the 2012 Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team competed in the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday, June 8. Terefe Ejigu took part in the 5,000-meter run, while Donald Scott partook in the triple jump.

Ejigu, a junior from Wellington, New Zealand placed 22nd in the 5,000-meter run at Drake Stadium. The first team All-MAC award winner completed the distance in 14:30.09.

Scott, a sophomore from Apopka, Fla. took 23rd in the triple jump after leaping 15.20-meters or 49-feet and 10.50-inches in his third and final leap.
