Junior/sophomore pole vaulter Kiley Tobel (Commerce Twp., Mich./Walled Lake Western) highlighted the field events, improving upon her school-record setting vault of 13-7.25, which she recorded earlier this season, clearing a personal-best height of 13-10.50 to win the pole vault.
Freshman Victoria Wesley (Marine City, Mich./Marine City) finished third in the pole vault with a personal-best vault of 3.93m (12-10.75).

Onimo legged out a personal-best time, slipping past Windsor's Andrina Slegers in the final 10 meters to win the event. Prince paced a Michigan dominated race from the gun to finish first.
Onimo also ran the second leg of the 4x400-meter relay, which won the event with a time of 4:01.81. Joining Onimo in the relay were senior/junior Shelby Hines (Marietta, Ga./Wheeler), freshman Chelsey Miller (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence North) and junior Ada Unachukwu (Morganville, N.J./Marlboro).
Earlier in the meet, Unachukwu took fourth in the 60-meter dash with a personal-best time of 7.70. She finished on the heels of junior Charlotte Cahill (Farmington Hills, Mich./North Farmington), who also clocked a lifetime best of 7.68.

U-M Junior/Sophomore Kiley Tobel
On topping her own school record once again ... "It was really exciting and I'm definitely excited I got this jump in before next week -- it got the confidence up, I'm ready to go."
On looking forward to the Big Ten Championships ... "I'm really excited. It's going to be really good competition, but I just have to stay positive and do what I know I can do because I've been training for this all year, so I'm really excited. I'll get a little nervous, but it'll be good nerves. My confidence is up and I'm ready to go."
On her goals coming into today's meet ... "I was definitely hoping to jump that height. Coach (Conlon) and I talk the day before the meet on our goals for the next day and that height that I cleared was the goal he wanted me to have. I don't know where it puts me in the national list, but it knocks some people off. We set it to that height for a reason. When I started warming up I knew I was going to PR. I just felt good. Coming in I wanted to, but I didn't know for sure until warm-up. Once warm-up came, I knew it was going to happen."
On just missing the 14-1.00 mark ... "It definitely leaves something to be achieved, leaves more to be wanted. The second you are satisfied you are no longer motivated, so I'm definitely still motivated and ready to go."
On the pole vaulters overall improvement ... "Things are really coming together and I think we're all peaking at the right time. We're getting to the point where we are getting consistent. Tori (Wesley) and I work out together every single day, we support each other more than anything. I was happy for her PR, but I know she has the next height, I know there is so much more for her as well. I'm excited for her, she's excited for me, and it's just a really good atmosphere."
