U-M Junior/Sophomore Thrower Ethan Dennis
On throwing a personal best the week before Big Tens ... "We weren't really planning on throwing at this meet at the beginning of the year, but I kind of put myself in a situation where I needed to. So we tweaked a couple things in technique this week, and came out and did pretty much what I needed to do, so it was good."
On being so close to the NCAA automatic qualifying mark ... "It was definitely a big confidence booster the week before Big Tens. I feel like I can still throw quite a bit farther and this definitely proved it to me."
On resting up and getting ready for Big Tens ... "We're not going to try and change too many things up before next weekend. I just need to get myself mentally prepared for it. I know I'm ready to do it physically, so I just need to get my mind in a position to where I can compete really well."
