TOLEDO, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) —The Eastern Michigan University men's cross country team scored 442 points en route to an 16th place finish this afternoon at the Ottawa Park Gold Course in the 2011 NCAA Great Lakes Regional hosted by the University of Toledo.

Wisconsin tallied 50 points to take home the regional crown, while Indiana and Michigan rounded out the top-three team finishes.

The Green and White were paced by 2011 Mid-American Conference First Team Honoree, Terefe Ejigu. The junior placed 27th this afternoon in a field of 211 participants after completing the 10,000-meter course in 30:56.8.

Redshirt freshman Daryl Smith was the next harrier to cross the line for the Eagles, racing to a 44th place, 31:23.8 finish.

Senior Cole Sanseverino took 113th with his time of 32.:36.3, while teammate Austin Hendrix placed 121st. Hendrix completed the race in 32:51.2.

Nick Petro and Ian Hancke placed 137th and 141st, respectively, and sophomore Harry Dixon took 154th today.
