Vicksburg's Gabrielle Perrin finishes 30th at cross country state finals

BROOKLYN--Vicksburg freshman Gabrielle Perrin ended an impressive season with an all state performance in the Division 2 race at Michigan International Speedway. She finished in 30th in 19:00. She knew the start of the race would be hectic and was able to keep her composure.
"It was crazy the whole time because there was a lot of competition but, it helped me push myself," she said. "I just ran at my pace."
Gull Lake finished 10th with 296 points. Freshman Hayley Buckhout was the team's top finisher, placing 53rd (19:37), followed by Leah Coonrod in 87th (19:58).
Makenzie Evers finished 35th (19:15) and led Plainwell to 13th place (320). Grace Carver of South Haven finished 37th (19:19).
