In the girls race, the top 25 girls qualified as individuals for the state meet.  The girls race
was hotly contested as only four points seperated Lutheran Westland and Southfield Christian.  
Southfield Christian trailed by 16 points after two miles, but closed the gap to four points by
the end of the race.  Erie-Mason qualified for the state meet for the first time in school history.
