MichiganTrackandField.com is proud to release the 3rd Weekly 2011 MITCA
Power Rankings for Michigan High School Track and Field.

These power rankings are produced by MichianaTiming.com at the request
of the Michigan Interscholastic Track Coaches Association (MITCA).

We wish to acknowledge and thank both Athletic.net and RaceTab.org for
their cooperation in compiling these rankings each week.

The power ranking is produced by the score of a virtual meet in which
each participating school enters their three best athletes in up to four
events. The top 90 athletes are awarded points as well as the top 30
relay teams. The power ranking is intended to show overall team
strength to a depth of three athletes which is the method use to crown
the MITCA Team State Champions on May 28, 2011 at Jenison (D1 and D2),
Kent City (D3) and Gobles (D4). Invitations to those meets will be
based in part on these power rankings and on regional champions.

D3: Frankenmuth - Boys
D3: Benzie Central - Girls
D4: Albion - Boys

Each has 72 hours to accept their invite.
