I am a student at romeo community schools and I have been doing cross country for two years and this will be my third year for track. I had Couch Busquaert as a couch for track and have attended the utica cross country camp for two years. I know that Couch Busquaert is a great couchs and gives individual attention to all of his runners and i feel that this disgruntled student is the core of all of these problems and accusations. I believe that Mr. Busquaert should be brought back as a couch to the Utica Cross Country team, why should a person be fired for the supposed accusations of a student and her parents. I think i speak for many cross country runners who know bob when i say that bob is a couch that truly cares for this sport and his runners.

Coach Bob is the type of coach who sees potential in runners, encourages and nurtures them, but most of all shares with them his vast knowledge and love of the sport. He is tough when he needs to be, expecting both committment and effort, but also caring when someone has a bad race or gets injured. Cross Country is a 12 month sport that requires those that love it to give 110%. Coach Bob brings out that love of Cross Country in all whose lives he touches.
