Curamus Terram 1/2 Marathon and 5K

The race is being sponsored by the Township and Park Commission. It consist of a 1/2 marathon and 5K. The link below will give you some more information on the race. It's a very pretty course in a country setting, but also with lots of hills (see the pdf on the Township Web site which shows the course and elevations. The name of the race is the Oakland Township "Curamus Terram" 1/2 marathon and 5K. The later term translates into "Caretakers of the land" and all profits will go toward Township park land purchases and park improvements. Lastly, this is part of first annual "Goodison Day" where we will have a flea market/craft show, fire safety demo's, the dedication of Bear Creek Park (this is where the runner finish the last mile), and various other events.
