Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports

The Governor's Council on Physical Fitness offers an endorsement program for organizers of events that provide opportunities for physical activity for Michigan residents. Runners who participate in a Governor's Council endorsed event can register for a lottery drawing on our website and for a chance to be one of 300 runners selected to run across the Mackinac Bridge ahead of the walkers on Labor Day.
