Founded in June, 1972, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) is the Midwest's premier Division II conference. It currently has 14 members spanning the states of Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. These institutions compete in 19 sports that the GLIAC sponsors — nine for men, ten for women.
