How many hours do you work and how many miles do you run?

Have you found a good balance from work and running?

60 miles a week running, 55 hours a week work with three jobs

Tough to balance but need the running for my sanity and running unfortunitly does not pay alot

Very supported by wife and kids when it comes to get the running done sometime during the day

I work off shifts with my wife so one of us can watch the kids at all times. I work about 30 hours a week and run on the 2 or 3 days I don't work maybe 20 miles give or take. Wish it could be more in the summer but I can't cut into my sleep anymore.

I'm just starting so I'm going to be a bit different than most :)

I work my normal 40 (wife and 3 kids) but still try to take 30-60 minutes a day to run ... either early before work, after the kids go down, or sometimes I run when I get home from work but I try to keep that minimized to interrupt family time ...

My level is only at a 5k ... I just completed my first one and my goal is to complete 5 5k races in 2010 and then move to a few 10k's next year ...

I run a 5k 1 - 2 times a week, and on the off days I usually go for a quick mile or mile and a half and am trying to work on my speed.

So .... 40 hours a week I work, and I run approx 5-7 hours a week? ... I'm guessing as I get into longer distances I'll increase the time but do it fewer days a week ... though personally I really enjoy the 2-3 mile runs a day ... quick, and being a couch potato 4 months ago still doing wonders for my health.
