  This is the first annual 'MG 5K in MAY' Run and the 10th annual Walk-a-thon for the Great Lakes Chapter of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation. This day of races, walks, fun and friends is all to support our chapter; so we can continue to provide services and support to patients, family and friends of those living with Myasthenia Gravis. Myasthenia Gravis is an autoimmune neuromuscular illness that prevents healthy nerves from communicating with healthy muscles, causing varying degrees of weakness of the body.
