48823 WEBSITE: http://www.eatrightlansing.org Comments or other Race Information: The Lansing Dietetic Association’s Food and Fitness 5K Run/Walk is one of the longest existing races in mid-Michigan. The event focuses on family, fitness, nutrition, and fun and includes refreshments, displays, music, and children’s activities. Proceeds are donated to the Greater Lansing Food Bank. All participants receive a medal and the top three finishers in each age category receive a trophy or medal. The event is managed by volunteers from the Lansing Dietetic Association, a non-profit organization of local nutrition professionals, with technical assistance from Playmakers.
