  This event is organized by the Physical Therapy Student Organization at Central Michigan University and includes a 5K Run/Walk and diabetes awareness activities. The date for the event is Saturday, April 13, 2008, and will be held at Health Professions Building at Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant. Registration begins at 10:00 am with the 5K run/walk starting at 11:00 am. Early-bird registration (before April 1, 2008) fee is $15/person, $12/person with a team of four or more. On-site registration fee is $18/person. Children under 12 are free. T-shirts will be availabe for all early bird registration, and first come first serve for on-site registration. Registration forms are available at numerous locations around Mt. Pleasant, the CMU Health Professions Building (room 2203), or online at www.geocities.com/cmudiabeteswalk. Participants are also encouraged to gather pledges in advance and bring them to the registration table the day of the event. Please join us for the run/walk, diabetes education, and lots of fun!
