The Promise Race formally known as Jacob’s Race in past years is to celebrate Girl Scouts. Originally founded by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912, this marks Girl Scout 100 year anniversary. Girl scouting helps build courage, confidence and character to about 100 girls in Laingsburg, and millions around the world.
