Back for a 6th year with a new name (called ”Run Against Drugs” and “Run Drugs Out of Town” in previous years), the Livonia Police Department once again is sponsoring the annual run to benefit the Livonia Save Our Youth Task Force! (www.saveouryouthtaskforce.com)
We are thrilled to continue the 5K and 10K runs, 5K non-competitive walk, and NEW for 2012 – a FREE Kids’ Fun Run! You’ll see improvements to the event and course, along with an expanded “Family Expo” are with activities for family and kids, a return of the “choose your prize” raffle, and more! And of course, there will be the usual great food, awards, entertainment, and most importantly – support for the great cause of drug prevention in our community.

Awards: Top Overall Male, Female, and Masters. Three deep in each age category. (All Kids' Fun Run participants will receive kids' medal.) :)
Updates: Back this year is FREE demo Segway Rides from Hines Park Segway Rental! Also a XL Bounce House for the kids from Jump On It Party Rentals. The Michigan National Guard Counter Drug Task Force will be joining us with an inflatable football toss and fatal vision goggles, Livonia Parks and Recreation will have kids’ games and activities! Also enjoy stage entertainment – Zumba and a martial arts demonstration in the morning, and local bands in the afternoon.
Bring some cash – we also have some great raffle prizes donated such as: Target Gift Card, Bahama Breeze “dessert and coffee” gift certificate, bowling passes, movie tickets, Tiny Town Play Lounge pass, free photo session from a local photographer, dog and cat gift baskets, an in-home appliance service call, and many, many more!
