The Capital City River Run weekend of races is one of the Lansing area's premiere running events. The Impression 5 Half Marathon offers a scenic course featuring paved trails, parks, scenic treks along rivers and a portion of the Michigan State University campus. The Cooley Law School 5K Race for Education circumvents the state capitol and uses the same finish as the half marathon. The event also features the Sohn Children's Races on Saturday, September 15.
