The second annual Top of Michigan 100K run/relay is held on the USAFT certified 62.2 mile beautiful, flat, crushed limestone North Central State Trail. The former railroad line starts in Gaylord, MI and finishes in Mackinaw City, MI. The course is perfect for a first time ultra runner or a seasoned runner going for a PR, with a total decline of 700 feet from start to finish. There is also a 2-person and a 6-person relay component of the race, with legs ranging from 5.6 to 16.3 miles. It is generally peak color season at this time in northern Michigan. In addition to the open category, there will be age/gender-graded categories.
